Major distribution companies operating on the Georgian market were introduced to the activities of the Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC). The meeting took place at Georgian Distributors Association.

In order to tackle this problem, Georgian Distributors Association proposed to settle the disputes of its member companies through arbitration proceedings, which is alternative and effective means of dispute resolution.
Beka Injia, the Secretary General of GIAC, made a presentation on the advantages of arbitration proceedings. Mr. Injia presented audience with the general activities of the Arbitration Centre and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms administered by GIAC, among them newly drafted Fast Track Arbitration Rules, which is tailored to the needs of business in general and serves as an effective means for dispute resolution.
