Workshop on New York 1958 Convention

A two-day Workshop for Judges on New York Convention commenced in Borjomi today. The workshop is organized by the Georgian International Arbitration Centre and United Nations Commission for International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) with the support of the European Union and United Nations Development Programme. The aim of the workshop is to share experience related to the latest trends of application of the New York Convention on Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitration Awards and discuss the various aspects of the field in an interactive manner. The invited experts leading the workshop are Judith Kniepper (Germany), Jeremy Sharpe (USA), Reinmar Wolff (Germany) and Dominique Hascher (France).
