GIAC Representatives Attended Global ADR Colloquium and Symposium in Istanbul
The Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC) is pleased to share that Secretary General Beka Injia and Senior Legal Counsel David Edilashvili attended the Global ADR Colloquium and Dispute Resolution Symposium in Istanbul, Türkiye, from May 6 to May 8, 2026.This three-day event was sponsored by the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce, in partnership with the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC). The program brought together global experts, judges, and ADR practitioners to discuss institutional and judiciary convergence, effective case management, and business operations for independent ADR centers.
A key highlight of the symposium was the active participation of GIAC's Secretary General, Beka Injia, who served as a speaker on the panel titled "Sectorial Approach to ADR: Infrastructure and Finance". His participation underscored GIAC's commitment to advancing dispute resolution practices and ensuring that ADR services are closely aligned with specific commercial and industry needs.
By participating in high-level international forums like this, GIAC continues its mission to strengthen contract enforcement mechanisms and foster an efficient, transparent, and investor-friendly ADR ecosystem in Georgia and the wider region.
