Objectives

The main function of the International Arbitration Center of Georgia is the administration of private disputes. In addition, based on the statutory objectives of the Center, it serves the development and promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms in Georgia and the entire region.

The statutory objectives of the center are:

creation and development of independent and impartial dispute resolution mechanisms in Georgia and the entire region;
introduction of other alternative means of dispute resolution;
creation of a training center for alternative means of dispute resolution;
Arranging conferences, seminars, inviting foreign experts in the field of arbitration;
educational, scientific and translation activities in the field of arbitration and alternative means of dispute resolution;
implementation of publishing activities related to alternative means of dispute resolution;
 

To achieve these goals, the arbitration center actively cooperates with Georgian and international organizations operating in the field of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
