18.10.2024Successful Launch of Certificate Course for Lawyers on 'Representation in Arbitration Proceedings' by GIAC
The Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC), in partnership with the Center for International Commercial and Investment Arbitration at Columbia Law School (CICIA) and the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce, has successfully launched its Certificate Course for Lawyers "Representation in Arbitration Proceedings".The first session, held on October 12-13, focused on Introduction to Arbitration and Arbitration Agreements as well as Initiating Arbitration. Lectures were delivered by distinguished experts Eduardo Silva Romero and Mariam Gotsiridze.
The next session is scheduled for November 1-2, where participants will explore the Constitution of the Arbitral Tribunal and Procedural Requests and Hearings, led by distinguished expert - José Feris.
